The Perfect Peel is a medium-depth chemical peel designed to improve the appearance of dullness, uneven pigmentation, sun damage, blemish-prone skin and uneven texture. The treatment causes visible peeling as the skin renews, so it is important to plan for the recovery period.

What to expect

After assessment and skin preparation advice, the peel is applied in the practice. Peeling commonly develops over the following days and may remain visible for around five to seven days. You will receive the appropriate aftercare products and instructions. Picking or removing peeling skin should be avoided.

A single treatment may be suitable, or a course of two or three peels spaced four to six weeks apart may be recommended. Suitability depends on your skin, medical history and the concern being treated.
